Should teachers be armed? Your thoughts!

In my opinion I don't think we are at that point yet (guns on teachers) in our schools but I can see being trained to be more proactive to a shooter. In recent school shootings it seems like teachers are being confronted with the shooter. I like to be more proactive, so I think we as teachers need training on taking a gun away, talk down techniques, or have something like pepper spray in our rooms (or should some teachers with proper training carry some type of concealed weapon?). I just don't want to be a defenseless target, that it is not in my nature to do so. I would do what I needed to do to protect students in this school even if it meant giving my life up to do it, that is why I choose to be a teacher.

School Safe?

In your opinion do you think our school is safe in-terms of fire safety? What could be done to improve the safety?
